About Georgia Homeschool Pulse

Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Thrive!

Welcome to Georgia Homeschool Pulse, a place where Georgia families can discover educational resources, build meaningful community connections, and explore learning opportunities that support every child's unique journey. This website was created from a simple belief: parents are their child's first and most influential teachers. Regardless of where a child learns, families play a vital role in creating educational experiences that help children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. While our roots are in supporting the homeschooling community, our vision extends far beyond one educational model. We recognize that every family has different needs, goals, and circumstances.

That's why Georgia Homeschool Pulse is designed to support families exploring homeschool, public school, private school, charter schools, microschools, hybrid programs, enrichment programs, and other innovative learning environments. Our goal is not to promote one educational pathway over another. Instead, we want to empower parents with information, resources, and connections so they can make informed decisions about the learning environment that best fits their child's needs.

Our Mission is to strengthen Georgia families by providing educational resources, practical guidance, community connections, and trusted information that helps children thrive. We believe education happens everywhere not only inside a traditional classroom. Learning takes place at home, in schools, libraries, museums, community centers, local businesses, nature spaces, and through experiences that encourage curiosity and discovery. Georgia Homeschool Pulse exists to help parents navigate the many educational opportunities available while creating stronger connections between families, educators, organizations, and communities throughout Georgia.

As an educator and parent, I saw a growing need for a central place where families could learn about educational choices without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. Many parents are searching for answers: What homeschool options are available in Georgia? How do I find the right curriculum or learning resources? What programs can support my child's interests and talents? What are the differences between homeschool, microschool, charter, private, and public education? Where can my child participate in activities, enrichment programs, and community learning experiences?

Georgia Homeschool Pulse was created to help answer these questions and connect families with opportunities that support their children's educational journey.

Meet Josephine Johnson

Hello! I'm Josephine Johnson, an educator, lifelong learner, and advocate for family-centered education. As a Georgia educator, I have witnessed firsthand that students learn best when they are supported by engaged families, dedicated educators, and strong communities. Every child is different, and every family deserves access to information and resources that help them make the best educational decisions for their situation. I created Georgia Homeschool Pulse because I wanted families to have a welcoming place to explore educational options, discover resources, and connect with opportunities throughout Georgia. Whether a family chooses homeschooling, public school, private school, charter education, microschool learning, or a combination of educational experiences, my goal is to provide tools and information that help parents confidently support their child's growth. Education is not one-size-fits-all and families deserve choices.
